Mike McCoy Photography | Professional Wedding and Event Photography

What's the Difference?

You may ask yourself, What's the difference?

There are many photographers and photography companies out there offering their services.

Prices range all across the board.

It's hard to know who to choose and what you are getting exactly.

One thing you may not know is that there is some "afterwork" involved.
Some photographers will give you the pictures they took exactly as they were taken with no touch ups or fixes. Pictures can be dark, or colors can be dull.

Some photographers will limit how many hours they will commit to your wedding day. If you want them for the full day, you will pay more.
Some photographers will give you a CD of pictures that are only screen resolution size. That means, you can't print the pictures or they will lose their clarity.

Mike McCoy Photography really goes the extra mile.

1. All of your photos will be reviewed and 500 of the best photos will be touched up in Photoshop or other editing software to be sure the lighting is perfect, the colors are vibrant and any necessary cropping is done. Photoshop can also be used to create special effects on the photos such as a black and white/color combo and even some artistic style photos too.
This can take a few weeks because it is a time consuming process but the payoff is worth it. Every edited picture has beautiful vibrant color, classic black and white and sephia tones.
2. When you sign a contract with Mike McCoy Photography for your wedding, you have hired the service for the day. From the getting ready pictures until the end of the party. No overtime charges unless the party last for more than one day.
3.With our services, your CD of pictures will be full resolution. That means, they are full size. You can print them, enlarge them, whatever you like. you are not going to lose clarity or quality. It is the same as having the negatives.
4. Once the pictures are done, they go on an online gallery for all of your friends and family to look at. We do not limit the time that the gallery is posted. Your gallery stays in place for as long as you would like for it to be there.
5. If you order any professional prints from us, we use only the highest quality metallic photo paper products from Kodak. Quality is important and we do not use lower quality paper for your memories. Metallic paper is moisture resistant, it does not bleed or fade. Your photographs will last for years to come.

Now you know a few of the the differences.

It's very important to ask these questions when you are considering hiring someone to capture the most important moments of your life.
We want to be your photographer and we offer the best in quality and service that you will find.
